A premise is a condition for something else. The word comes from the Latin proemissus or proemitto which means to go ahead or send before. Premises therefore shape the origins of other logical consequences.
When we talk about life’s big questions it becomes essential to work from the right premises, otherwise the conclusions will be faulty. Here we will present the main characteristics for each of the premises that Scripture lays down as fundamental to our existence. They are historically confirmed and proven valid in every area of life, all over the world.
Here we will present five unique premises, where the first one is the most important and the rest follow.
The five premises for our existence are:
- YHVH Elohiym (God)
- Truth
- Mankind
- Responsibility
- Creation
